It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our founding partners, Brady Mueller.
Brady joined KOMA (formerly Krech, O’Brien, & Wass) in 1987 and was an integral part of shaping the firm’s culture and success throughout his career, before retiring in 2021. He loved being an architect and was masterful at building lasting, genuine connections with clients and colleagues. He brought a special enthusiasm and warmth to the office that has been greatly missed.
Outside of architecture, Brady cherished spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters, whom he affectionately called “the sparkle in Bumpa’s eyes.” He also enjoyed being active – playing golf and sharing a meal or the occasional martini with his friends.
In honoring Brady, we are reminded of these words he shared in his retirement message:

His passion for his work, his generosity of spirit, and the relationships he built will remain an important part of who we are. We will continue to honor Brady’s legacy at KOMA.
