St. Michael, MN
A combined concessions building and bath house situated at the entry to the park is classic in color and form, and offers support, shade, and services to the surrounding splash pad and playground. The large, covered pavilion is located across the park, and provides gathering and performance space to the community. Building materials were inspired by the adjacent City office building, and just as important as design aesthetics were sight lines, durability, cleanliness, and safety.
