The dry fertilizer storage facility is a 7,722-ton expandable facility with truck and rail receiving, two covered loadout lanes with two 30-ton overhead tanks on weigh scales, 9 macro bins, 3 micro bins and an area designed in the alley to store additional bags. The pre-engineered metal warehouse is a 21,845 sq. ft. building that supports multiple business functions for Monte Vista. Within this building they have packaged and bulk crop protection products, an agronomy shop, an energy shop, and an attached office. Marcus Construction was the design-build general contractor for this site which includes both a bulk dry fertilizer storage building and liquid chemical warehouse.
