July, 2009 – Edina, MN – Burgundy Place at The Gateway, the first major redevelopment of the Pentagon Park area of Edina, Minnesota, is on-schedule for a fall completion. Krech, O’Brien, Mueller & Associates provided structural engineering services for the 32,000-square-foot structure, working alongside project architect Miller Dunwiddie Architecture.
KOMA project engineer Michael Lisowski, PE, said, “We have a long history of working side-by-side with Miller Dunwiddie, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to be involved with this project. Developing a high-end, integrated mixed-use development is something that fits our expertise perfectly, and we look forward to the full completion of the project.”
Bordering the Fred Richards Golf Course, Burgundy Place is an integrated mixed-use development slated to include office and retail space, a health care clinic, a bank and 36 condominiums. Other potential uses include hotel and hospitality services.
