St. Louis Park, MN
KOMA assisted the City of St. Louis Park in developing a palette of materials, colors and patterns which would help in creating a brand or identity for the city park and community structures. A limited selection of materials were chosen for simplicity in design and construction detailing. Durability was a key issue because many of the shelters are used as warming houses for ice skaters in the winter. The prototype has already been used successfully at Oak Hill Park, Nelson Park and Browndale Park.
