Woodbury High School and Woodbury Middle School worked with KOMA and Martin Pevzner Engineering to significantly enhance the buildings’ air quality and improve upon the performance of their mechanical and air-handling equipment. In the process, major improvements to classroom and activity areas were tackled, as well. In the high school, KOMA updated mechanical areas, ceilings and restrooms, and also designed a more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing entry into the activities wing. Also developed were a new, tiered, theater-style lecture hall and an improved gymnastics gym. Similar updates occurred in the middle school, along with an impressive remodel of the pool area.
