Lino Lakes, MN
Lino Lakes Elementary School has a focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) which became a major influence on the design. It was important to create a space that was an aesthetic upgrade and also provided visual aids for each component of STEM. New mechanical rooms were added, classroom partitions were replaced with floor-to-ceiling walls for sound control and safety, the courtyard was filled in to add more classrooms, a new secure entrance was built, and new landscaping was added to promote outdoor learning.
